The 2003-2004 Slippery Rock University Rock Pride Hockey Team is having
another fine season. The Program continues to grow towards becoming a
dominant force in The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA)
Division 1 level.
As you are well aware, Slippery Rock Hockey has a long-standing tradition
of players, coaches, and administrators who have enjoyed the
competitiveness and comradery in which the great sport of ice hockey brings
to all of us. The memories and experiences, no matter how old, live in us
forever.
We are interested in spreading the word to all of the SRU Alumnus to join
us in an annual Golf Outing/Alumni Hockey game during the summer of 2004.
The specific dates and times are going to be determined in the near
future. The event would consist of the Alumni Hockey Game, 18 holes of
Golf, a hockey ceremony, and good food/drink. The location will be minutes
away from the school so you can conveniently go back to "The Rock" to see
how much it has changed since you last visited.
We are in the process of compiling a contact list of all the participants
in the SRU hockey programs over the years. The records have been passed
down from one captain to another via "The Box" and we are currently
compiling the information so that we can make sure that the list is
complete.
If you are interested in attending the 2004 Slippery Rock Hockey Alumni
Game/Golf Outing, please contact us for more detailed information . Also,
if you have information or memorabilia (pictures, jerseys, score-sheets,
etc.) that would help us make this event more special, please let us know.

also be very helpful.
